A San Diego couple recently reported that their real estate agent was fraudulent in selling them a home that was foreclosed and not telling them. The man claims that his real estate agent, a Filipina woman, did not inform him or his wife that the home they were buying in 2008 was foreclosed.
Furthermore, the man says that the real estate agent took their $12,000 down payment on the home and disappeared while they were being evicted from the foreclosed home.
Police arrested the real estate agent last month and charged her with 5 counts of felony fraud and theft amounting to approximately $20,000.
